I am also staying on the sidelines for tech. IMHO The NT news is going to trigger another overdue PE contraction for the high fliers. I don't feel lucky enough to try to trade a bounce.

I DO have a few stocks I'm hoping to add to at the open. They're a couple of real losers, and one has the ridiculously high forward PE of 7! ;o)

Excar. Not a tech "player"

My general rule is not to try to trade against the primary trend in any sector.

To easy to get trapped and wipsawed for a nasty loss in a sector as volatile as tech IMHO.

Am content to play the patch (long and perhaps short) where I'm more familiar with the tape action in many of the individual stocks.

Have no problem being patient and waiting till the after the final Bear Market washout in tech. OR maybe if and when the TA tells me we are setting up for a major Bear Market rally in tech.

Hope that helps.
