George, last March, the markets shrugged off all bad news. Today, IMO, the markets are shrugging off GOOD news. If the PPI had come in with at -0.7 percent. . .and housing starts came in dramatically lower than expected. . . . we would have STILL opened limit down!! Because the spin would have been that we are headed toward recession at a "greater rate of speed" than expected. . . . and that will lead to more layoffs and the Fed moves will not take effect fast enough. . . .so we would sell off terribly. Instead, we saw an UPWARD surprise. And the markets shrugged it off!! The bears have such control over this market, that it sells the good news with the bad. And that is why I believe we are quickly reaching the end of this. Purely subjective reasoning. Guys. . .at the rate of turnaround we've been seeing of late. . . we may not get a recession at all! Greenspan said the same thing! Why has this not been considered by Analysts, Journalists or Pundits? Hello?!?!? Rande Is
