No. What about the guy who might have several drinks to celebrate his sons birth? Does that one night of drinking make him an alcoholic? No. Is a social drinker an alcoholic? Some are, some aren't. GW freely admitted he had drinking problems when he was young. He also declared that he was in a alcoholic program and hadn't had a alcoholic drink for 15 yrs. The public knew this well in advance of the election, Really, I wasn't aware of it until his DUIs came to the surface. I suspect many others weren't either. I don't remember a statement re his drinking being in a campaign brochure that I saw of his. Now, no one knows...and we only have his word that he has been sober for 15 years. Hopefully, he will stay sober for the next 4 years. <<<< You not only have the word of GW and his friends, you also have the press reporting that he never takes a drink, even on social occasions. So what...that means very little. Isn't that good enough for you? If not, why not.
