how does the NT drop affect JDSU's NT stock. i know they have to hold it for at least a year but were there any collars or parameters on the total # or was it just cut & dried?

The only parameter I saw was the cash due if NT didn't meet purchase targets.

NT's news is perhaps the largest heads-up to date that circuit switching is dead. Eventually, the broader market will recognize this means next generation vendors are more valuable than ever, but I fear that will take awhile. Right now you could be selling an all-optical switch at price points even AT&T could afford and your stock would be in jeopardy.

Just my opinion, of course.

When the air clears, the truth will out.
