I hear Penny is doing well with this -- is that true?

GST,

That is true and they are becoming a major player on-line. The strangest part is they have dropped the ball in their traditional stores and can't seem to catch it again. They even know their problems but can't seem to higher people to correct it. What I do like best about older established retailers, is they tell it like it is during the conference calls. Compare that to a new economy retailer.

Penneys last conference call included admissions they are not competing well in their space. They are trying to be more competitive and be where the fashion trens are. They have not been able to execute and do that. They will close stores to cut costs until they correct their problem.

That is not the type of talk that will get people to pick of the phone or the mouse and buy their stock. In fact, people are not buying their stock. It is refreshingly honest and an admission management is human and they are doing their best. Insiders arn't even selling<G>
