JC Criticizes Intel's Upping the Voltage (already) on the P-4
Snippet:

Well Well Well....

Awhile Back You Criticized Me On That "Other Board" for something I posted. I guess you Don't Follow Your Own Rules..... Now Do You.....

Message 15112264

"I dont however go into the Intel Forum on here and post glowing stories or tech stuff I find on AMD.. nor do I go in there and post every bad story I can find about Intel (and in the year 2000, there were plenty of opportunities to do so). I may post something in response here in the AMD forum to whoever comes in here looking for trouble (such as our Rambus colleagues) but if they come in here and incite things, thats fair game as far as I am concerned. Nothing wrong with posting information or reports to counter FUD or misplaced arguments - dont you agree?

Again.. theres a difference between doing that and deliberately going into a competitors message base and inciting or upsetting everyone.."

I guess your rules are for everyone else EXCEPT YOU.

STrike 3 - Re: ": the K7 core was conservatively spec'd with respect to voltage, "

The K7 AThWiper runs at 1.75 volts - for 1.2 GHz operation - the same voltage where Intel's Pentium 4 runs at 1.7 GHz.
