The very first words written were a prophecy. They have been found on a wall of a deep cave in the middle east. They have been carbon dated to 10,000 BC. They expressly stated in very bold letters. So as far you know the first written words in the middle east were 10,000 years back. btw i was asking questions not criticizing religion which i would love to do since that is what has caused most wars on earth and continues in the form of jihads. fyi, the first written words in the far east were carbon dated over 20,000 bc which said "Beware of religion postings on SI. Neither technology nor communications will expand their horizons and understanding of the universe. And dont even mention Darwin or the Big Bang. They will continue to wait for their saviour"
