wrong...the gold market has ZERO correlation with equities...only the dollar is important for gold.

take e.g. the '85-'87 period when gold rose concurrently with stocks, and the '70's when stocks collapsed, gold however rallied.

as long as the dollar looks sick gold is very likely to embark on a rally...a rally no-one will believe is for real, which of course means it will be the real thing this time around.
