The south was segregated and anyone who got elected was white and could have been Democrat; but after the passage of the Civil Right's Act the south supported Republicans......the white population in the south that is. Blacks have sided with Democrats,because it was the Democrats that gave them their rights back.

Like I said........the Arian nation votes Republican. They are not in favor of civil rights.
