Agree Bosco....I am finally recovered from this shock to be able to type:)

NT must have been too bullish and may not have understood the predicament that their customer base was under. Again, my take is this is a sign of inexperience on the part of Roth and Chandran from a business assessment/forecasting points of view.

What I am perplexed about is that IF NT found out from their key customers (and it must have been the major accounts that told NT they will be retrenching), then how come ALA has not come out with a warning as well? Surely in the Telco/PTT world, NT's top customers are ALSO ALA's top customers.

Yet, ALA is I believe sticking to their much higher growth forecasts. Either ALA is also not being timely with a new guidance OR NT is partially having operational/sales problems.

In any case, this is all very amazing. I wonder what JDSU is going to do since Roth must have been fully aware he was going to preannounce yesterday's warning before closing the JDSU deal (on the other hand JDSU may have been told about the warning and still went ahead knowing that the deal had to have been done for regulatory clearance).

Well, I guess I will be a long-term investor in NT now whether I want to or not!!
