mmmary mmmakes some very good points regarding HOMS and it's long term prospects (or lack thereof). Short term it's a manip'd POS alligator and won't give quick short profits. Also, if you check mmmary's website you'll see she's a hottie, along with being smart. I'm short HOMS and long mmmary. ;-)

You should think seriously about getting into home inspections "that include wall cavity inspection."

I believe you are going to see a massive increase in the mold remediation business in the coming years. Once there is more public awareness. There is big money in this field, and right now, not many that know too much about it, not even some "experts."

I have read a lot of stories of home buyers that notice a "musty" odor in a home, or room, and the realtor brush it off as no big deal. In some cases, it will cost tens of thousands to remove the fungi properly and safely.

HOMS does not look good to me either

HOMS might not make it, but I'll bet you a nickel that a large company will evolve and revolutionize this industry. It might take 10 years but all it needs is some Bill Gates type character.

The divorced, soccer moms will have to find another profession.

The appraisal business is one of the biggest scams going.
