Bob,

An interesting question is this - if ITC sold to a single strategic buyer or group of buyers that ultimately wanted to bid for ELNK, would they be so blind as to not sense this - ie. they'd have to be stupid not to have sold at a high premium to the likes of a Microsoft. If they in fact did, then we'll find out when the Edgar filing comes out and there will be a fresnzy of speculation. Somehow I think that this might not be the case - Microsoft would be smarter than this and want to do it in one shot. Perhaps some sort of J.V. is due to be announced wiht MSN taking a stake similar to that which was entered into with Sprint. There's been talk of Microsoft and ELNK appearing on CNBC tonight. We'll see. By the way, good dialogue today on the Yahoo board re: the 144 issue. I try to avoid tthose boards as they're mostly garbage.

Bob - if things pan out as advertised and convergence truly is the rule of the day, subs are going to be very valuable because they'll be a whole host of things being bought and sold. And someone has to be the ISP.

5 years from now the value of ELNK would be considerably more than today. (IMHO) But clearly they can't and won't stand alone that long.
