You probably already know the following:

A lot of people get away with violations of the TOU because no one reports them.

Certain threads are given more leeway for vulgarity and obscenity than others, e.g., there is an Insults Only thread.

There is a difference between adult language and abuse - it's hard to define in advance but it's one of those "know it when you see it" things.

And, finally, you can't please everyone.;^)
