Fin,

I would really rather discuss engineering and marketing issues, but am more than willing to mix it up at any other level. For now I will stick with the technical stuff, because the facts are pretty plain.

It is a well known fact that you can speed up a microprocessor by using expensive cooling techniques, but this is generally not considered to be a good business strategy for consumer markets.

P4 is being overclocked, and PIII is stalled at 1GHz? Who is poised to benefit?

BTW: Yelling does not change the facts.

Fingolfen:

I dont deny that the P4 gives Intel the Mhz lead.. but evidence in testing at several sites which are independent (and not named amdzone.com) openly assert that its a stretch to give the P-4 the performance lead, and the majority dont. (I'm not even taking into account Price-performance ratio, which up til now AMD clearly has been conceded)

Do you assert that you and Intel knows something these sites dont?
