This situation is a LOT different than the patch in 98/99, so much so that an article could be written on it.

Tech won't stay down forever, but it isn't likely to recover anytime soon either. There are no favorable catalysts on the horizon but lots of negative ones.

Michael, the difference is that in the winter of 98/99 oil stocks were priced as though $5 oil was the future. Do you think that tech stocks are now priced for the worst and can only drop a little or go up from here? If not then it will take a little more in depth analysis to convince me that I am seeing shadows and imagining ghosts, whatever that means.

PS how do you guys go back and pick up such old posts? I wanted to review some of my old posts and couldn't even find them under my bio. Ed
