Nothing will beat a hard wired fat pipe. Another problem I have with my DirecTV is when the sun in direct line with my dish. Poof! the signal is gone. Add to that heavy rain clouds, accumulated snow (for some of the country), and high winds....there are serious problems to achieving 4 9's.

Hi, Just saw the Nortel Massacre although i'd heard about it in the early morning ! Any comments or is enough been said and I haven't bothered to look ? In that case I'll scroll back.... Member 8871050 This is a very good friend of mine....someone who I have had the pleasure of knowing since 98...when I used to lurk around on the Yhoo message boards.... Please welcome Sweetpete1 to SI and into the Piffer fold......even though he doesn't really Piff.....and as for me, I just try to cross my fingers, close my eyes and blindly follow the piffin' guru as closely as I can !
