That's funny - big cap defense stocks just went green! IMO General Dynamics (GD) is the best of the bunch. Raytheon Class (B) is having a good day, too (Tomahawk cruise missiles). Raython just announced it will merge Class A and Class B stocks so be on the lookout for arbitrage opportunities.

the time to buy defense stocks was sometime last year...this type of news i'd rather take as a selling oppty.

of course, the US cruise missile arsenal is rather depleted...so there will no doubt be good earnings for defense contractors this year. however, the stocks largely discount that already imo.
