At least he had the BALLS to do what was political suicide for the Fiscal benifit of the country. I respected him more for it. In my opinion GB senior was the best president weve had since IKE. He governed in a time when the US was BROKE, we had to lobby other's to pay for IRAQ campaighn. His term was really when the seeds for the rebirth were sown. Its easy to be a president in a boom like CLinton/Reagan/Kenedy. How many presidents govern well in times of crisis? LBJ/Nixon? ford/carter? Clinton? I voted for GWB because his father was terribly malighned. I only wish now R Giuliani would run for pres. Just imagine what he could do with an Air Force?
