Actually the euro has got knocked back down considerably since the beginning of the year (though up today). This may offer an opportunity for anyone who wants to bet on the euro using the fund BEGBX or the Merrill warrants, EUN/WS.

But trying to time or play foreign exchange is supposed to be more speculative than anything other than sky diving without a reserve chute.

Anyway, I am still holding my BEGBX and warrrants, though less happily than some weeks ago. Actually the BEGBX seems also to be benefitting a little from interest rate changes--maybe.

hdl, Thanks for the positive uplift, but, to tell the truth, I haven't made nearly as much on the Euro as I should have. I started buying calls too soon and dug myself a hole. I am well into profitable territory right now, but definitely could have played it better. Actually, it's not my fault. Danged Europeans didn't do what I wanted them to do soon enough. <VBG>
