I am surprised you rate NT higher than CSCO in this comparison. I thought legacy products belonged primarily to LU and NT. CSCO's business is too new to have much in the way of legacy products. Please explain. Also today's market is indicating otherwise as NT and all-optical JDSU are down 30 and 20%, respectively, v. 7% down for CSCO. Thanks.

I've heard CSCO classified with the legacy vendors several times lately. They were to the enterprise what LU and NT were to carriers. Their roots are different but they all needed to find solid optical networking strategies and NT beat the others, hands down. The one beating them all is Ciena (albeit on a much smaller scale). And once the Street figures out JDSU sells to CIEN, as well as to NT's all fiber side, they'll give them the value they deserve.

Hard to say how long it'll take. Probably about as long as it takes AG to drop rates.
