Slider,

Took you and Iso off ignore to see what the fuss was about. You have been on topic all afternoon and have made some excellent posts! Hope you can keep it up because I really value your posts when they are objective.

NT did not even make a feeble attempt at a dead cat bounce going into the close. Not surprising under the circumstances. My opinion of the market fundamentals deteriorated dramatically during this week. Believe it is going to get a lot worse before it gets better. NT was the straw that broke the camels back.

Whoa Slidah Mon! NT and CC numbers - "The Ghost and the Darkness", brother! <g> Maybe now they will believe.

VIX is not even close to signaling a bottom. More down to go. See that NT volume today? Gotta see that kind of gut twisting pure terror in a lot more stocks. Especially these stupid DOW stocks.

VIX is the one to watch.

Slider, Do you think that in coming months we should see lots of warnings from non-tech companies? PPI went up a lot. High energy prices should have eroded earnings of all brick and mortar companies. Do you agree? I think that SP500 should start it's slide.
What I don't understand is banks. Weren't they lent all that money to telecom and consumers? This money is gone for good. All misallocated capital needs to be wiped out.
Again, my investment experience is very small - 2-3 years. Do you think that we'll have a recession?
Thanx - ild
