GV and Amy, Considering that: - PPI came in WAY above expectations - Dell warned of lousy forward business - HWP warned of lousy forward business - LU has financial problems that look pretty dismal - NT warned to at least the 4th quarter - Escalation in Iraq - Housing starts came in strong, suggesting it will be hard to lower interest rates - Consumer confidence stinks - Industrial production down Considering all that, not all that bad a day for the markets. It's looking more and more like bad news is priced in. Unless the news gets really dismal, we may be ready to put in some kind of a bottom at 2400 NASDAQ????? I don't have a clue, but bought a little stuff today. John
