Ah, belief is a funny, funny thing. It can stand in the face of evidence with untrembling knees. And that might be interesting if you actually provided evidence. I said that animals can't understand abstract philisophical concepts. You think they can and post that a parrot has the mental ability of a 3 year old human. cages.org This site doesn't provide anything in the way of evidence. It makes some claims and asks some questions. Maybe some of the links on it do better but I clicked on a couple and they asked that I log in. Any way there are too many links for me to want to check them all. If you have something important provide a direct link that will work without a login. In any case even the claims on this site don't have bids dealing with philosophy and even if they did the fact that some one puts it on a web site does not make it true. pigeon.psy.tufts.edu I skimed through this site and I don't think I have problems with any of its claims. However its claims seem to only go as far as saying that primates use language. Tim
