Jenna - Thank you for your detailed explanation. (And sorry about the delay in responding. I shut down the computer at the close on Friday and haven't been back online till now.) Up until recently I was primarily a momentum trader, so I never focused too closely on short-term charts. (The 60 min. chart was the shortest term chart I used.) Anyhow, that's all changing.
