Ted,

The real reason for the bombing is that Bush can't stand Clinton getting all that air time at the head of the news.

ted, Re: Fragile economy...feels out of control...breaks out into war...kiss away economic recovery.

Yes.

Economy sucks. I said last May that it was going to by now if AG didn't retract in time. He didn't. Iwas too stupid to sell most of my stuff. Just couldn't believe, day after day, that wasn't going to be the day he'd realize! Didn't dump 'till November. Cost me big time.

Feels out of control...Yes.

But it's going to get in control soon. I don't know a whole lot, but it sounds like we're attacking specific military targets which we believe were involved in firing on jets enforcing the southern no-fly zone. Iff that is, in fact the case, and we'll know in ~10 years, then I would say that the choice is between giving up the no fly requirement or attacking.

But who knows -- should our jets be flying Iraqs no - fly - zones? Or should they fly the zones and accept fire without retaliation? Were they being fired on last year? How many times did we take out Iraqi targets last year without Dem supporters talking about 'bombing Iraq?'

...Kiss away an economic recovery -- I'm real scared of that, given war or no war. From my point of view it looks like Civilization is very near a depressive spiral.

And when you think about it, that's the only way the interest rate/stock market dichotomy can end.

Take a deep breath, a walk and think how good things really are, right now.

The tell in all of this is that the only other country joining us and barely, is the UK....

Ted-

It would have been nice if the Peruvian Air Force and the Portuguese had joined us. Maybe the German Air Force. As for the French, that is a really good joke. Who else would be a good candidate that did not join us?
