Hi Bill,
This week's economy activity moved up slightly. That is two weeks in a row! Although, the groundhog saw his shadow so we have four to six more weeks before we'll see a significant upturn in the weekly activity.IMHO Then we will be able to get a better reading on where the economy is heading. I haven't run my indicators yet. I expect them to be mixed to positive.

There is some speculation that the new home starts might be builders hoping 'if we build it, they will come'. I'm still waffling between the bearish and bullish camps. I suspect it can go either way.
