Those are not liberals on the campuses spouting Marx. If they think they are liberals they are woefully misinformed. As for Lieberman, he was treated with kid gloves by all because he was the first Jew on a national ticket, but was rightly criticized by one brave Jewish figure for sounding a bit extreme from time to time. Not that there isn't room for a moral compass in public life, God knows, but when I hear John Ashcroft proclaim that "there is only one King," my blood runs cold.
