What does it matter what you consider irrelevant? Are you perhaps expecting to be appointed to the Supreme Court?

So no one else but the Supreme Court's opinion is ever correct or worth listening to?

The constitution is a body of law. The court's job is to interpret that law. They can be wrong (of course even when they are wrong the Supreme Court is not subject to appeal)

Can you give me an example besides the the 2nd amendment of one of the bill of rights that you believe would suddenly cease to be binding if it was proved that some physical object was less common in the late 1700s then previously thought? Why should the number of guns in the 1700s (and they where common then) have anything to do with the 2nd amendment?
