BRING ON THE CRASH

This thought reminds me of what many Washington citizens thought about Mount St. Helens in early 1980, except it was hurry up and blow. And when it DID blow, it went beyond people's imaginations. Perhaps Greenspan has done a similar service for historians.

Mishedlo,

You bring up a very good point. We don't have free markets though.

Very smart people recognize the excesses and bet accordingly, but often get separated from their money because the game is essentially rigged to protect Wall St and bankers.

Other very smart people recognize the excesses, but know the game is rigged so they bet accordingly.

The very smartest people know the game is rigged, but that it won't work forever.
