Ibexx, I agree. I think John Chambers of Cisco hit it right on the head when he said the Fed looks at old data, 4 - 8 weeks old like today's PPI, to make decisions. Chambers, Barrett and other high tech CEOs, OTOH, can look at the progress of their company's current quarter right up to the last 24 hours. As usual, anything government is woefully behind the technology companies that got slammed because of Fed backwardness.
