If you had said that no one has an all-optical switch (o-o-o) I would agree with you (perhaps advocates of Corvis may not, but that is another issue concerning the exact definition of an all-optical switch and its functionality,) but Ciena (with the CoreDirector,) Sycamore (with the SN16000,) Tellium (with the Aurora) and Cisco (to a certain degree with its Monterey product) already have an o-e-o switch they are shipping. And my limited understanding of Nortel's HDX is that it is Nortel's product in this area under trials soon (if not already underway) and ready to be shipped later this year.
