Glenn: Worth a read --- siliconinvestor.com Lets assume we get slightly lower rates and things hold up well -- could see some buying come back into the market. But let me point out something that might not seem like news, but which remains a wild card -- the middle east. The Israel shift to the "far right" coupled with renewed skirmishes with Iraq point to a new round of instability. If there is a stock market play here, it is the drillers, even though they have had a good run already. Drillers could be the real "defensive play" in this market and a good counterbalance in the event of continued energy insecurity. Good luck.
