My dau would have blossomed regardless, but Y&G has certainly been a major avenue for that growth, wrt civics education, public speaking, leadership and political skills, confidence building, etc. Rob, Just a last thought. The YMCA is likely one of the most underrated and less understood organizations around. The general perception is it is a second class "exercise club." The amount of other projects that are handled by this organization is amazing. In addition to the above mentioned projects, most YMCA's have a child care program at a very low cost, spousal abuse programs, etc. One would think from what one reads in the media that most employers offer a decent child care program for their employees. This is the exception and not the rule. The majority of the large corporations due offer child care but mid size and down, cannot provide that service. Glenn
