Re: Working in the Coal Mine.

So, spring must be in the air if you're going to work on your boat. But, then, as you say, you're always too early. <gg> Of course, I definitely suffer from the same premature something affliction.

Glad I dumped off the Cubes cargo Thursday at ~59.70. It looks much more better down here. I'll have my orders ready to go back in on Tuesday and assume the long term trend line will hold.

I readily admit that I don't know where down may be. But, until we break DJIA 11,000 and OEX 692 to the upside, the direction is not up. OTOH until we break DJIA ~10,500 (diamond) and NDX ~2,160, the direction is not down. Now, if those break then your 15-20% will probably come into play. In the meantime, I hope we just build a basing pattern on the Q's with $54 as the bottom. I know, hope is not an option.

The plan remains the same. Buy at some distance from the down trend lines and sell any where close to them.

"Berney says we are ... just slowly bleeding to death."

"I think this is what fooled Big Al and the boys, they didn't really realize the situation until it was toooooo late."

With every respect: That's still toooooo much honor, toooooo nice - yet kind of history-fake. Sounds to me like "the killer couldn't resuscitate his victim".

Don't forget: Al generated that what you call "situation" - without his "genial" series of rate-moves neither we had last years hype nor this recession.

BTW - recent numbers prove that these classical assumed correlations between workless-numbers, fed-rate, inflation and economy-groth are worth to be re-considered.
