Gilder liked AVNX at $200, he must love it now.
Let's take a look.

Customers for Avanex photonic processors include WorldCom, Inc., Nortel Networks Corporation, Lucent Technologies, Fujitsu Ltd., Hitachi Ltd., Sycamore Networks Inc., Sorrento Networks, Cogent Communications and Cisco Systems, Inc.

For the six months ended 12/31/00, net revenue totaled $82.7 million, up from $10.9 million. Net loss applicable to Common decreased 8% to $36.6 million. Results reflect strong demand for the Company's products

Let's see strong demand has the company's loss at a mere 36M.

Fast recovery or hold out for $10?

GG loved Globalstar at $40. It's below a dollar now and practically bankrupt. He may know technology, but he is no stock picker. Don't entrust your financial well being to GG. If you insist on techs, at least hedge with some cheap gold stocks and some long term OTM puts on NDX.
