The driver is to get the consumer to start buying again... What we need is new stuff to drive up their interest.
Reasons to upgrade or buy new pc's and get more cell phones or upgrade phones. build usage of phone lines. New devices on cars. roll out of hdtv.

Addi, good morning ... you may well be right, but in my mind, preserving the large gains of recent years is more important to me than missing the bottom opportunity that so many people see at this time ... many are anxious to recoup the decline in their brokerage accounts and 401Ks from the last 12 months ... fortunately, that does not include me, although I could give a big chunk back if clinical trials of the AbioCor go poorly ... I do not see doom and gloom, but I am projecting an economy that will likely not begin to recover until early 2002 (at the earliest) ... and therefore, I will be amazed if the market starts to move steadily upward before July - my expectation is maybe a real rally will begin as early as this October ...
