Lets look forward Next week will be the last for most E&P's to report earnings for Q4. So after that what's left to support stock prices in that sector. Shoulder season is upon us so stocks will trade not really with the present weather conditions but future and those conditions most probably will becoming milder. AGA draws will start to become fills. Storage is very low at present so some good fills would be positive in my mind. Though maybe not for gas prices. Thinking we stay range bound on natural gas futures between $6 and $4 for the next couple months. Irrespective of a Middle East blow up, I'm seeing oil prices falling. Possibly to $25 maybe lower. At $25 there appears to be some pretty decent commercial buying so I would expect this level to hold. So stock price support won't be found in commodity pricing if my price predictions are correct. Mergers and take outs could lend some support as well as some discovery success. It would seem to me that not much awaits us until next reporting season barring a complete melt down in the Middle East. Also it appears difficult to get money to "sit still" in this sector but that also may be true of most any sector nowadays. Play them the way you see them. I'm probably going to work on some other projects and keep me one good eye peeled on this sector for some excellent values to appear over the next month or two. As I would expect it to drift lower. All pot shots on the above welcomed, and if you all have me on ignore it's probably just as well. My wife and kids tend to ignore me too. Getting used to it. Best of fortune to all
