The Naz' generals have already been punished handily, but the KO's on the Dow are still sporting huge valuations.

let's look at 3 stocks.

using ttm numbers...

AMAT - a company who cannot give us any visibility for their year, let alone the quarter... and investors are paying...

4-5x sales just under 20x earnings

KO - Price/Earnings (ttm) 67.61
Price/Sales (ttm) 7.15

JDSU still over 12times sales with like a forward pe over 43...

what about things like MUSE WEBM BEAS? trading over 10times sales is like a sin... or should be.. haha... while the above few stocks have come down.... JDSU can certainly come down more... slow growth scenario's will hammer all the highflyers which still exist in style on the nasdaq.

market will work out the excess gradually and hammer out the dipbuyer until it is comfortable with all...

Hard to imagine... BRCD now at 53... still trades nearly 40times sales... going to my guesstimate of 25-30, would still make it one of handful of highflyers...

it's a psychological thing.... excessive up on tech, excessive down on tech... i think they dais bond and dividend funds are up over 300% in inflows vs. last year... and well techs... we all know what's going on there.

what about CSCO vs. NT? 8times vs. 2 times sales... simliar growth going forward...

stil too many questions... we're not correcting the "last year 5000 nasdaq market bubble".. this is for all the marbles...

cheers,
