Come on. NT and ERICY are tracking each other neatly:
finance.yahoo.com

Not that I don't believe wireless will be successful - see the following article, for instance:

Chatty Teens Seen As Growth Market for Wireless
dailynews.yahoo.com

It won't be an either-or development. Fixed-line and wireless markets will grow concurrently and complement each other.

congratulation !!! Elmo, great joke.

Few statistic: Verizon (all data reported on analysts meeting available on Home Page)
of 18 billion capex near 13 billion on fixed(packet, optics) connection.
Data networking (IP+ATM, DSL, IP routing) will grow 20-25%.

SBC numbers are similar
Sprint, who did not spent to much last year due to possible merger with WCOM, will increased capex 25%, where fixed connection capex will se much higher growth then wireless.

Indeed "Carriers stopped investing in fixed line infrastructure."

Please continue. I am going to ask Jay Leno to invite you on
special show "Future of telecommunication industry"
