I don't know anything about the K6 case temperature, and regardless I was talking about the junction temperature.

And shortly after that they nearly went bankrupt. It was a sign that they were being "out fabbed".

Is your point that Intel is in the same position as AMD was when it had to drop max allowable temperature for the K6 series?

Myself, I really don't expect Intel to come anywhere near bankruptcy, but you are certainly entitled to your own opinion. And your logic does make some sense...
