John, JDSU (now with SDLI) is forecasted to earn close to a buck per share in 2002 (or $1.3 B) and have a growth rate close to 45% over the next five years. Strangely enough, it might soon be worthwhile looking at (right now with a new low printed yesterday, you'll be wise to wait for the 20' or maybe less, but once the naz turns, I think that the JDSU's are going to lead the way up, they are after all at the new "technological frontier" where growth continues as far as the eye can see.
