Dan,
My concern about demand is not from individuals such as yourself. I for one have had a cable modem for several years & would not be without it. But you only have to look at the problems of NT, ATHM, T, Lu and others. The Telcos/Carriers borrowed heavily for the build out of bandwidth. They are not realizing a profit on this build out & they are buried in debt. This build out will be put on hold. It may be years before another cycle of growth occurs in this industry. So, although these are wonderful companies with great technology, someone has to foot the bill.
No one likes recessions but they are a fact of life. Booms are always followed by busts.
Then again, maybe Greenspan can bail us out once again...

P.S. I hate being negative, but I am really struggling with this issue of a Tech resession led by the Telecom sector. I just don't see how we can ignore it.
