Jeffrey, things are changing. JMAR is not going to attack the silicon market first, but the GaAs market. This has lower power requirements (which JMAR met in November). They have since announced their linkup with the stepper maker Sal, and expect sometime around the end of the year to have a working system for GaAs chip makers. Silicon is next. Power requirements for silicon have dropped from 90 watts to I think 60 watts. JMAR has increased power 600% in 18 months. We are in the endgame stage now. Fruition to a 10 year project in x-ray.

The fifo market is large and expanding. JMAR positioned JSI to hit the fastest growing segments, which is the telecommunications related markets. The first product is hitting the shelves of AA (All American Semiconductor), with several more products in the pipeline. JMAR's fifos are the FASTEST in their class.

All in all a different JMAR from the one that I bought in 1994. I have great hope for the coming year. Good time to re-enter if you ask me. By the way were you on the PRODIGY money talk boards?

Jeffrey - Are things different? Well, I hope so, but development stage companies ALWAYS take longer than anticipated to bring about results. XRL finally seems very near having the throughput necessary for commercialization -- but I think it will still take longer than we'd hope.

As for the chips -- small and fast is where it's at! They're going to have to pack a lot more stuff into smaller and smaller spaces, so I don't think a small, fast chip can miss. Now we'll have to see if JMAR has what everyone needs.

Have patience. This might be the year for JMAR to get off the ground.
