I think they make good accent trees...they look good lined up in driveways....and the late flowering feature makes them stand out, when everything else is nearing to shedding leaves...We have a bright pink one in an island bed in the middle of the patio...underplanted by a dozen white Gruss An Aachen roses...and it steals all the food from the roses !!!!

I like Golden Chain trees too. The flowers look like yellow Wisteria. I grew up in a country where they were EVERYWHERE. Didn't realise how beautiful they were till I left the place 15 years ago and realised how I missed them.......

Jacaranda Mimosofora is another of my favorite, again almost like Wisteria...and extremely beautiful when flowering. I have been trying to fit it in my backyard plan for 2 1/2 years now ! Finally gave up a few days ago.....

Both are too big for my tiny backyard :-(

On another topic - I ordered my digital camera today. Kodak DC 4800. Handy for macro photography - for pictures of roses in full bloom !
