I'm sure precious metals investors would love a marketable exchange traded security, backed by gold, which pays a small amount of interest. Instead of hedging, miners could effectively do the same thing by offering securities that mature every year - selling forward directly to investors using a gold convertible bond. >> Why don't you suggest it to those idiots of the WGC - they don't listen to me - perhaps some of the other miners.
