My classic rock station in Boston is having a "Fab February" - they're playing alternate versions of Beatles songs, live versions etc - very cool.

<g> The first time I heard the Beatles was on a reel to reel 4 track tape recording that my dad had from when he was in the US in the 60s. I discovered my dad's stereo in the late 70s and early 80s and played that thing to shreds. He'd recorded every song and I wore out that tape! That and the Sgt. Pepper LP!
