Hey Swam,

I have no idea where the tech stocks are going, and I don't even hazard a guess, because I've been wrong so many times lately. I kinda just want to know if my POS of the moment is going to run off their recently released NR, sometime in the next hour <g>.

One thing I can say, tho, is that I've never seen (in the last 2 years) this thread so bearish. Have you??

There is a school of thought out there that when everyone is bearish we have hit a bottom. The bearishness is certainly not confined to only this thread. Gurus almost quarter hourly on CNBC are on the same wavelength.

It will be interesting to see over the next several months how this thing pans out. Is that school of thought accurate or is it another 'old school' truism that falls by the wayside (like every other school of thought in this crazy market)????

It is amazing how the market and market sentiment works however. YHOO at a 2002 P/E of 500 a year ago was a strong buy by 'anal'ysts. This year at a current P/E of a twentieth that it's a 'sell'.

This last couple of years have certainly been an amazing time for us to be involved in. Business books 20 years from now will probably have a chapter or two devoted to it I would think.
