Since the market acts as a leading indicator I think the risk is in not owning AMAT. If you get in now and even if the sock moves down in the short term we should still see higher long term gains in a year from now. I for one would much rather be looking at favorable long term gains instead of short term gains (or getting killed trying to time short term moves).

There is just too much negative sentiment
Interest rates are on the way down
Bad news is already factored in the price of AMAT as well as other tech stocks.
Lots of cash sitting out there in mm funds just waiting for a catalyst to pile into stocks

AMAT 40AprilCall offers 5-10% return in 2months. So does 50AprilCall. How can then its dead money? 5% in 2 months translates to how much annually?
