You should not be amazed at anything that is legal in California. After all, we have Los Angeles and it's self-important and all-knowing celebrities; we have San Francisco and it's gender-challenged colony; and now the state government is completely dominated by left-wing do-gooder wackos trying to figure out how to put tax-paying people last in line behind non-payers, trees, mud puddle dwellers (oops, excuse me, I mean vernal pool occupants), and various insects. And our wonderful policy of open-the-barn-door-to-illegal-immigrants from all over the world, not just Mexico. And last but not least our all but non-resistance to a thriving illegal substance industry, which may be bigger than agriculture or Silicon Valley.

Ah yes, the Golden State. Our leaders have the Midas Touch; everything they touch turns to mufflers. Once upon a time, someone went looking for the Golden Fleece; now we tax-payers are just trying to avoid a Golden Fleecing by our government(s).

We taxpaying wage-earners will pay for the energy deregulation screw-up of our sorry lib gov't. It will be a real bitch picking up the share of the energy fiasco costs of the businesses that go bankrupt or relocate out of the state or country. But we will do it, baa-baa
