Shack
"it wasn't supposed to be that way for the average Joe putting cash into equity funds every month"

Just a few comments about that above.
1.Most Investment mangers don't know shit about the Stock market.Once they get you as a Client they could careless, bottom line there looking out for themselves and there percentage they earn off your money.
2.Most Joe's no dick about the Markets only past events the markets always come back and thats there line when selling Mutual Funds.
3.Most everyone here knew the markets where way overpriced on Tech stocks last early March and now its just the oppposite effect and the selling is not over yet till some of the big ones come back down to Earth as seen in NT.

Hi Shack,

' for the average Joe putting cash into equity funds every month.'

But whose money were you guys taking ? It couldn't only be other traders. The pool of money is only so big. I've followed you guys posting your trades and making money for a good while (and learned a lot about risk management I might add). If you guys are making money (and other good traders) where was it coming from if not the average Joe ? Don't take this as a slight because it is definitely not, but all those folks holding NT at 100.00 or RIM at 200.00 or whatever is exactly where the money came from.

regards
Kastel

PS. When it comes to t.shhh I'm an average Joe. Was up 27K plus before the big melt. Ended up holding and holding and holding until I finally dumped for about a 1K loss. (my contribution to the Swami's retirement fund LOL) :0)
